A still for ChatGPT or Gemini

If all you want is the trophy photo for a profile picture, an image tool is enough. Attach a clear selfie and paste this:

Golden ball winner, still photo

Use my photo for the face: keep my face, skin tone, age, hair and any glasses or beard exactly as they are. Show me on the stage of a grand old theatre at a football awards gala, one warm spotlight on me, a dark audience in black evening wear behind, gold confetti in the air. I wear a midnight-blue velvet tuxedo jacket with black satin lapels, a white shirt and a black bow tie, with no pins or badges. I hold a plain shiny golden football trophy above my head with both arms, my whole face visible below it, smiling like I can’t believe it. The trophy is a golden ball on a smooth plain black base, with no plate, writing or logo. Photoreal, like a press photo, vertical 4:5. No text, no names, no watermark.

Our video prompt

This is the prompt our page sends for a 10-second vertical take, word for word, with the reference photo as @Image1. It’s written as a timed shot list because a single paragraph lets the model blur the cuts together.

Ballon d’Or AI video, 10 seconds, 9:16, one photo

A vertical 9:16 TV broadcast of a grand football awards gala, exactly 10 seconds, photoreal live action in full natural colour, three shots joined by clean broadcast cuts. Setting: an old theatre hall, dark, lit by one warm hard spotlight that follows the winner and a soft golden haze in the air; the packed audience of adults in black evening wear reads as dark silhouettes with warm rim light; red velvet seats, gold balconies, a stage with a curtain of soft golden lights at the back. THE WINNER is the person in @Image1, in every shot: exactly their face, face shape, eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, skin tone, age, hair colour, hair length and hairstyle, and any beard, glasses or freckles they have. The same face from the first frame to the last, recognisable at once. The winner wears a midnight-blue velvet tuxedo jacket with black satin lapels, a white shirt and a black bow tie, or a floor-length plain midnight-blue satin evening gown — the only blue in the hall, so the winner stands out from the black-clad crowd. No pins, badges, brooches, embroidery or trim. THE TROPHY: a plain shiny golden ball the size of a real football, with a classic panel pattern, sitting on a short, smooth, plain round black base. The base is bare black all round: no plate, plaque, label, band or engraving on the ball or the base. [0-1.2 s] Shot 1, medium shot in the audience, the spotlight lands on the winner seated in a red velvet seat: as the name is called the winner gasps, hand pressed to the chest, mouth open in surprise, the whole face clearly visible. [1.2-2.5 s] Same shot: the woman in the next seat on the winner's left, in a deep red evening gown, throws both arms around the winner, cheek to cheek, both laughing. Her face is mostly turned away from the camera; the winner's face stays toward the camera. [2.5-6 s] Shot 2, one continuous tracking shot from the front-side, so the face stays visible: the winner rises, walks down the aisle under the following spotlight and up the lit steps, guests standing and clapping on both sides; at the top, seen from the side so both faces show, the grey-haired host in a tuxedo shakes their hand and hands over the golden trophy. [6-10 s] Shot 3, on the stage, spotlight from above, from the knees up: at 6-8 s the winner lifts the trophy high above the head with both arms straight, the trophy well above the hairline, the whole face clearly visible below it, never in front of the face, and gold confetti bursts down; at 8-10 s a slow push-in to chest-up as they bring it down to the chest, kiss the golden ball for one second, then look straight into the camera with a proud, emotional smile. The host and every guest are ordinary unknown adults with their own faces; only the winner has the face of @Image1. One winner, a grown adult. Nobody resembles a famous person or a football player. No sports kit, no crests, no sponsor boards. No text anywhere: no names, captions, titles, year, subtitles or channel badge, no writing on the trophy, the podium, the stage or any screen, no logos, no watermark. Five fingers on each hand, natural hands holding the trophy. Sound: in the first two seconds a deep male host voice says over the hall microphone, clearly and only once, in English: “And this year’s award goes to…”. Then loud, continuous applause and cheering from the whole packed hall that never drops out until the last frame, with a big orchestral fanfare under it that swells as the winner lifts the trophy overhead. No silence or quiet gaps, no other spoken words, no song with lyrics.

The name is called

To have a name called, change the quoted line to end with it, as in “And this year’s award goes to… Sam!”, and add that the name is spoken, never written.

Getting the sound right

The weakest part of every AI take we made was the applause. Next to the clips going around, the model’s crowd came out quieter and kept dropping into gaps, which makes a packed hall sound half empty. A prompt helps a little (“continuous applause that never drops out”), but it doesn’t fix it.

  1. Keep the model’s sound for the first two seconds: the host’s line and the gasp.
  2. From the first cut, lay a steady applause and orchestra track under the rest, at the same loudness as the opening.
  3. Let the orchestra swell where the trophy goes up.

Our page does this for you: the host is the model’s, the hall after the first cut is a bed we mix in.

Rather skip the retries? The Ballon d’Or page runs this prompt from your photo, mixes the applause and lets the host call your name. What the winner filter is and how to send it.

One Standard video uses 45 credits. The smallest pack that makes one is $9.90 for 90 credits (2 videos), a one-time buy whose credits never expire, and plans start at $19.90 a month for 270 credits. If a video fails, its credits come back.

Questions

What is the ChatGPT prompt for the Ballon d’Or photo?

Attach a clear selfie and ask for you on a gala stage in a velvet tuxedo, holding a plain golden football trophy above your head. The full prompt we tested is in this guide.

Why shouldn’t I write “Ballon d’Or” in the prompt?

Named things leak. Name the award or a player and models add the real trophy’s shape, sponsor boards, captions or a famous face. Describe a plain golden ball instead.

Why is there writing on my trophy?

Video models like to engrave a plate on any base. Say the base is plain black all round and list what must not be there: plate, plaque, label, band, engraving.

Can Gemini make the video?

Gemini’s image tool makes the still. For the moving version you need a video model that takes a reference photo; the video prompt in this guide is written for that.
