Zombie AI trend with your partner (girlfriend or boyfriend)

How to make the zombie hug AI trend with your girlfriend, boyfriend or partner: what the couple version shows, which place to pick, and the photos that work.

6 lettura minima · Aggiornato

The short answer

To make the zombie AI trend with your girlfriend, boyfriend or partner, pick Partner on the Zombie Hug page, add a photo of you and one of them, and choose where it happens. You stay human; they’ve turned. You can’t pull the trigger, they recognize you, you reach for each other, and the film hard-cuts to the two of you alive on your best day.

Partner is the only choice that keeps the romance: a matching ring, a beach at golden hour, a slow dance. With a parent, sibling or best friend it’s the same story as a hug and a happy day instead.

The story everyone describes, and what ours shows

Ask anyone to describe the zombie hug and you get the same story: a survivor faces a loved one who has turned, recognizes them, lowers the weapon, they hug, and it match-cuts to a warm memory where both are human. Our film follows that arc, with a few specific choices:

MomentThe usual storyOur couple film
RecognitionA look in the eyesClouded eyes, a flicker, and a keepsake: the ring, a scarf, a bracelet or a jacket
The weaponLoweredLowered, dropped, arms open; a flashlight if a gun can’t be shown
The hugThey hugDepends on the place: a hand-for-hand reach, a fall into snow, a leap onto your back, a hug at the train door
The cutMatch cut to a memoryA hard cut mid-motion, the same move carried into the memory
The endingBoth humanBoth alive and laughing, a close shot of both faces, fade to black
SoundA sad songWind, a heartbeat and a piano chord; add a song when you post
A curly-haired woman in tears aims a handgun straight at the camera in a close-up
0–2 s: the choice. Tears, a shaking gun, aimed at the one who turned.
Close-up of a grey-skinned zombie man with clouded eyes, a ring still on his finger
3–5 s: recognition. Clouded eyes, and the thing that gives them away: here, the ring.
The woman sobs with her eyes shut and her arms held open on a ruined street
6–7 s: the gun drops. Eyes shut, arms open.
Wide shot of the woman and the zombie reaching for each other’s hands, the gun on the ground between them
8–9 s: the reach. They stumble in, one hand out for yours.
The same couple alive on a beach at golden hour, laughing with their hands clasped and the ring catching the sun
9–15 s: your best day. A hard cut on the reach, both of you alive.

Pick the place: four couple endings

The place you pick sets the cold opening, the keepsake and the memory you cut to. For a couple:

PlaceThe keepsakeThe reachYour best day
Ash streetA matching ringHand reaches for handA sunlit beach at golden hour, cheek to cheek
SnowboundA red knitted scarfThe hug knocks you both into the snowLanding laughing in tall golden grass
Dead mallA woven friendship braceletThey leap onto your backA piggyback at a summer night fair
Last trainA worn denim jacketThey step off the train and pull you inA barefoot slow dance in a sunny kitchen
In the snow, a woman in a red scarf drops her gun as her turned partner, also in a red scarf, stumbles toward her
Snowbound: the matching red scarf.
In a ruined mall under a broken skylight, a man reaches for his turned partner
Dead mall: the reach under the broken skylight.
A woman hugs her turned partner at the open doors of a subway train
Last train: the hug at the doors.

Not sure? Ash street is the classic look. Last train is the most romantic ending. Snowbound is the funniest.

Who turns: you or them

The first photo is the one who stays human and the second is the one who turned. Swap the photos and you swap the roles, so a girlfriend version and a boyfriend version are the same two uploads in a different order. You can make both and post them back to back.

  • The one who stays human cries, aims, drops the gun and opens their arms. This person carries the emotion, so pick the photo with the clearest eyes.
  • The one who turned gets grey skin and clouded eyes, with no gore. Their face comes back clean in the memory.
  • The film is 15 seconds, vertical for TikTok and Reels or widescreen.

Photos for a couple

Use two separate photos, one person in each, not a photo of the two of you together. Each face is built from its own photo, so a sharp, front-on picture of each of you matters more than a nice couple shot.

A smiling woman with curly hair facing the camera in soft, even light
FunzionaYou: face to the camera, eyes open, even light.
A man in glasses facing the camera by a river with a city behind him
FunzionaWho turned: alone in the photo, face in full view.
A man in a cap and dark sunglasses with the sun right behind him
EvitareSunglasses and backlight hide the eyes the film needs.
A dim, crowded party photo with several faces
EvitareGroup and party shots: crop to one face first.

Ideas for the couple version

  • Pick the place that fits you two: Snowbound if winter is your season, Last train if you commute together, Ash street for the classic look.
  • For an anniversary, Last train ends on a slow dance, which suits the day.
  • Long distance? You only need a photo of each of you, not the two of you in one place.
  • Prefer to film it? The free guide has a shot plan for two people and a friend with a phone.

Posting it

  • Tag your partner and let them see it first; the hard cut lands better the first time.
  • Add a sad zombie hug sound and turn the original down; our sound guide has the steps.
  • Captions that work are short: “I’d know you anywhere.”

One Standard video uses 65 credits. The smallest pack that makes one is $12.90 for 90 credits (1 video), a one-time buy whose credits never expire, and plans start at $19.90 a month for 270 credits. If a video fails, its credits come back.

Domande frequenti

How do I do the zombie couple AI trend?

Pick Partner on the Zombie Hug page, add a photo of you and one of your partner, choose a place and make the video. It comes back in a few minutes with sound.

Can I make the zombie girlfriend AI trend?

Yes. Put your photo first and hers second and she’s the one who turned. Swap the order for the other version.

Can we use one photo of us together?

Use two separate photos, one face each. A couple photo can be cropped into two if both faces are clear.

Is the couple version romantic?

Yes. Partner is the only choice with the romance: a ring, a beach at golden hour or a slow dance in the memory.

Does the zombie video show a gun?

The opening follows the trend with a gun that gets dropped. If that scene can’t be made, it’s remade with a flashlight automatically.

Is the zombie couple video gory?

No. Grey skin and clouded eyes, no blood, and it ends on a warm, sunny memory of the two of you.

Can I use my partner’s photo without asking?

No. Only upload someone’s photo with their permission.
