What is the Boxing trend? The golden combo, explained
The Boxing trend explained: a fast shadow-boxing flurry behind the sofa, then the golden combo, why people post it, and how to make your own from one photo.

The combo
It’s one take from a phone resting on the sofa, looking up at someone standing behind it. They shadow box at the lens with bare fists: a fast flurry of jabs, hooks and uppercuts, back to guard, then the golden combo one punch at a time: uppercut, jab, hook, an uppercut with the other hand and a straight cross.
Where it started
It started with a short clip from an AI character account: a lone figure shadow boxing on a flight of stone steps. People copied the combo in their own living rooms, phone propped on the sofa, labelled every punch on screen and called it the golden combo.
Why people post it
It’s dead serious and completely ridiculous at once. Anyone can throw the combo in their living room, and doing it with a straight face is the whole joke.
What the AI version looks like
The AI version puts you behind the sofa from one photo, in the clothes you wear in it, and throws the flurry and the combo with your bare fists, no gloves. The video is 10 seconds and vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with the trend’s sound, a break right as you snap back to guard, and no watermark.

Fragen
Will I wear boxing gloves?
No. You box with bare fists, in the clothes from your photo, the way the trend does it.
Does the AI video come with the sound?
Yes. The sound is already in your video. If a platform mutes it, add the sound from a boxing combo video you liked when you post.
