How to do the Nightwing trend, beat by beat

Beat by beat

The whole switch fits in 10 seconds. These are the beats to hit:

1. 0:00, the mask: your own clothes, a violet wall, a blue mask lifted to your eyes.
2. 0:02, the whip: the camera whips away right on the beat drop.
3. 0:03, the suit: black suit, blue stripe, two glowing batons, a purple room.
4. 0:05, the batons: swung out wide and crossed behind the head on the beat.
5. 0:08, the close-up: the camera pushes in, a baton on your shoulder, eyes on the lens.

Film it yourself

• Film the mask-up first, phone on a tripod, against a plain light wall in your own clothes.
• Swing the phone hard to one side as the beat drops, then stop recording.
• Change into the costume, turn the main light off and a purple light on, and start the second clip with the same swing.
• Join the two clips on the swing, then add the Stereo Love funk sound when you post.

Post it with the Nightwing sound, so it shows up with the rest of the trend. Not sure what it is? The explainer has the whole story.

Or make it from one photo

1. Open the Nightwing page and pick you or your pet.
2. Add one photo: your face toward the camera, knees up or head to toe, in good light. The photo guide shows what works.
3. Press Make my video and sign in when you’re asked. It’s ready in a few minutes. You can close the page: the video waits in My videos and we email you when it’s ready.
4. Download the MP4, with the song and no watermark, and post it to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

Each video uses credits from a pack or a monthly plan. See pricing.

Fragen

Can my pet do the Nightwing trend?

Yes. Pick Pet and add a photo of your dog or cat sitting up: it lifts the mask with a paw, then stands on its hind legs in a small black suit, twirling two glowing batons. The fairy dress is for people only.

Does the AI video come with the song?

Yes. The song is already in your video. If a platform mutes it, pick the Stereo Love funk sound when you post.

What if the video fails?

You don’t pay for it: what it used goes back to your balance automatically, and you can try again with another photo.
